One might also add that along with things that qualify because they are too large or complex, or unfold over time in a way that makes them difficult to grasp in natural language, etc., there are also phenomena, like capitalism, which have mechanisms which obscure aspects of their nature and functioning (the discourses around fetishism and/or capitalist realism are designed to shed light on how this works).
